Welcome
to SWAK EXPERIENCE UG
 |
A new dawn in the culture
of dental care.
Is there really news about how to brush your teeth?
We believe so and would like to inform you about the culture of brushing
your teeth with the SWAK toothbrush. No toothpaste needed! |
Although
most people clean their teeth more or less regularly, caries and periodontitis
are widespread diseases.
These problems are mainly caused by pathogenic bacterial covering (plaque)
occuring in hard to reach areas.
Additionally dentists find sometimes severe damage that is caused to teeth
by scrubbing with conventional or electric toothbrushes. The SWAK toothbrush
- a fusion of the natural, traditional dental aid Miswak and the modern
toothbrush - was developed by dentist Thilo Grauheding's creative team
to create a gentle and efficient method of dental care.
Of course they didn't reinvent the wheel. For millennia many indigenous
people have used the stranded wood of the Miswak bush, or "toothbrush
tree" (salvadora persica L.) for their daily dental routines.
The plant is found mainly in East Africa, the Middle East and India.
It is not established as a modern dental care option due to difficulties
of use.
With the ergonomically optimised SWAK-handle this toothbrush wood can
now be used easily and efficiently and find its way into western culture.

the computer, whilst hiking or in a traffic jam... SWAK users can
perform their dental care in many different situations.

At the beginning you need a little practice.
If you want to rush across your teeth at break-neck speed you better stick
with the plastic scrubbers. Once you've learned the technique though,
the SWAK is more thorough and leaves a better mouth-feel than any other
method.
